SHOCKER from BJP MP Vinay Katiyar: ‘No need for Muslims to live in India, they should go to Pak or Bangladesh’
In shocking remarks, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Vinay Katiyar has said that there was no need for Muslims to live in India.
Speaking to news agency ANI, Katiyar said Muslims living in India should in fact go to Bangladesh or Pakistan and live there.
“Muslims should not live in India… when they divided the country on the basis of population, what was the need to stay back in this country? When they have been given different land, they should go to Bangladesh and Pakistan? What is the need to live in India?” the BJP MP said, in shocking remarks.
He further called for punishment for those who disrespect national emblems.

“There should be a bill that punishes those who do not respect Vande Matram, those who insult the National Flag… those who hoist the Pakistani flag, they should be punished,” Katiyar said, commenting on AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi’s demand for prosecution of those calling Indian Muslims ‘Pakistanis’.
Owaisi had yesterday urged the Central government to introduce a law that would punish those individuals with a three-year jail term for calling Indian Muslims Pakistanis.
“The law should make the offence punishable by three years of imprisonment,” Owaisi said while participating in the debate in the Lok Sabha on the motion of thanks to the President’s Address.
It is not the first time Katiyar has made controversial remarks. Just recently, he had called for the demolition of the Taj Mahal in Agra, saying only a temple ‘Tejo Mahal’ should exist there.
Katiyar, who had previously claimed that the famous mausoleum in Agra was a Hindu temple called ‘Tejo Mahal’, made the remark when asked about the ‘Taj Mahostav’ being held in Agra.
“There is not much of a difference between ‘Taj’ and ‘Tej’. It is a good thing that a festival is being organised but this Taj Mahal is not the one that existed during the time of Aurangzeb. It was our temple. Now it has become a cremation ground. A time will come when the cremation ground inside the Taj will be destroyed by some administrator. Only our temple will exist and only the pillars that exist around it will stand,” Katiyar had stated.
