Federal ministers to donate entire salary for Diamer-Bhasha, Mohmand dams
The federal ministers, during a cabinet meeting on Wednesday, announced to contribute their entire salaries as a donation for Diamer-Bhasha and Mohmand dams fund.
Caretaker Prime Minister Justice (r) Nasirul Mulk has appreciated the gesture.
The cabinet also recommended that federal government servants may make a contribution to Diamer-Bhasha and Mohmand dams fund voluntarily and proposed that officials from BPS-01 to 16 contribute one-day salary while those in from BS-17 to BS-22 contribute two-day salary to the dams fund.
The cabinet clarified that officials of the government who do not wish to contribute to the fund are free to exercise their option.
