Indian forces continue to kill, harass Kashmiris
In India-Held Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred three more Kashmiri youth in Sopore town, on Wednesday.
The fresh killings have raised the number of martyred youth to fourteen in less than a week. According to Kashmir Media Service, the troops killed the youth during a cordon and search operation in Tujjer Sharif area of the town. The authorities suspended mobile internet services and ordered the closure of all educational institutions in Sopore.
Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir, Mirwaiz-led Hurriyat forum and other pro-freedom organisations have strongly condemned the fresh spree of arrests and harassment unleashed by the Indian forces in the held territory.
Addressing a meeting in Srinagar, Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir Chairman Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai said that the Indian military’s occupation over Kashmir is in blatant violation of all established norms and international laws.
The Hurriyet forum, led by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, in a statement, also expressed its resentment against the anti-people policies being employed by the ruling dispensation in New Delhi.
Kashmir Muslim League in a statement criticized the authorities for harassing pellet victims in Yaro, Langate area of Kupwara district.
